Our recipe for a successful language trip

Take something English-speaking abroad like Great Britain (London) or Ireland (Limerick) - spice it up with cultural and historical highlights, adventurous day trips, then spice it up with plenty of exchanges with native speakers and a good pinch of sociability. To refine it, mix in individual tasks and research assignments and let it all soak in, preferably over an evening beer in the pub. Don't worry - nothing can spoil here, because a language teacher is always there. Got a taste for it? Then let's go for a ride.

The motto of all language trips is to discover new and exciting places together, to come into contact with native speakers and to use the English language intensively. Cultural experiences combined with English language practice.
In preparation for the trip there will be two meetings where the group will get to know each other, the most important questions will be clarified and individual wishes and suggestions for the organization of the stay can be made.
The price includes bed and breakfast in a double room (single room available for an extra charge) as well as the complete travel costs (train and flight).

New Zealand

After the great success of our first trip to New Zealand, we are delighted to offer a second language and cultural trip to New Zealand in March 2027. Breathtaking landscapes, fascinating Māori culture, and the relaxed Kiwi way of life make New Zealand a truly special destination.

Oxford

We are continuing our language trips and are planning a journey to the historic university city of Oxford in 2027. Look forward to impressive colleges, British culture, and the unique atmosphere of one of the world’s most famous university cities!

We are currently developing a new travel concept for a larger group. The plan includes travelling together as a group as well as a varied programme centred around language, culture, academic life, and Oxford’s history. In addition to shared excursions and guided programme points, participants will actively use English on location through language support, small tasks, and authentic everyday encounters.

We are also exploring the possibility of staying in university accommodation in order to offer participants a particularly authentic Oxford experience. Depending on availability, the programme may also include a visit to a public lecture or academic event in Oxford.

The exact travel dates will be announced soon and are expected to be in August 2027.

An open information meeting for anyone interested will take place on 22 September at 7:00 pm at EBG, Maxim-Gorki-Straße 14, Magdeburg.

We will present the current planning status, answer questions, and explain what the next steps towards registration will look like.

Malaga

¡Vamos a Málaga! For the first time, we are planning a Spanish language trip – and we’re heading straight to the sunny Costa del Sol. In March 2027, we would like to travel with you to Málaga and experience Spanish where the language truly comes alive in everyday life: on the streets, in cafés, at markets, by the sea, and right in the heart of Andalusian culture.

Málaga combines a Mediterranean lifestyle, fascinating history, and a relaxed atmosphere like few other cities. Look forward to historic sights such as the Alcazaba and the cathedral, lively squares, tapas culture, sea views, and plenty of opportunities to use your Spanish in real-life situations.

We are currently developing a new travel concept for our first Spanish language trip. The plan is to combine language support with group activities, cultural experiences, and practical tasks that encourage you to actively use your Spanish. The focus will not only be on learning, but above all on experiencing, trying things out, and speaking the language.

The trip is planned for March 2027 and will last six nights. The exact travel dates, price, accommodation, and further details will be announced as soon as the plans have been finalised. Erasmus+ funding may also be available.
